Summer School

Upland High Summer School 2019

This program is primarily designed for current Upland Unified students desiring to make-up high school classes and credit. Courses are held at UHS and require daily attendance. Academic classes do not meet on Fridays. A student may take a maximum of two classes during the summer (one each session).  Course offerings are dependent upon enrollment. Your signature below is acknowledgement that you have read and agree to the rules and conditions on this form. Office hours in the summer at Upland High School are 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  Space is limited and priority will be given to seniors and students special programs.

Attendance – Good attendance is essential. Roll will be taken twice each day, at the beginning of class and again following the break. There are no excused absences in summer school. Students that miss more than five hours of class during the summer session for any reason may not receive credit for the course. Final exams may not be taken early. Partial credit is not available. Be sure to check your calendar and arrange vacation plans accordingly. Students may not remain on campus after class unless they are participating in a supervised high school activity. For safety reasons, students may not leave campus during the break.

Code of Conduct – All school and district rules and policies as well as local, state, and federal laws apply when students are on campus and on their way to and from school. A summary of rules, policies, and laws are published. Copies are available in the office for your review. Also note that skateboarding and rollerblading are not allowed on campus. Violation of any rule, policy, or law may result in loss of credit and dismissal from summer school.
