Directing Change Winners

Students in the Video Production programs entered a state-wide competition that focused on Suicide Prevention, Mental Health Matters and Cultural Issues. Competing against hundreds of schools, our students have been acknowledged for their work and have received awards for our region, San Bernardino & Riverside County.  

Conflicting Currents

The film “Conflicting Currents” submitted by Jeremiah Andrade, Josh McConnell, Gavin DeLacruz and Luciano Aldana has been selected as the 1st place winner in the MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS category. As a first place regional winner, they will receive a cash prize for $500 and have moved on to statewide judging.

Notice the Signs

The film “Notice the Signs” submitted by Sarah Chu has been selected as the 2nd place winner in the Animated Short Category (higher prize value). 

As a second place winner, she will receive a cash prize for $500.

The Gift of Life

The film “The Gift of Life” submitted by Malaika Lambert and Maritza Pastrana has been selected as the 3rd place winner in the MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS category.

As a third place regional winner they will receive a cash prize for $250.

Realization

The film “Realization” submitted by Akira Miura, Muhammad Oktodinata, Al Stallworth and Isaiah Alvarez has been selected as Honorable Mention in the Suicide Prevention category 

As an Honorable Mention winner, the film will be recognized on the website.

Journey to Discuss

The film “Journey to Discuss” submitted by Ciera Sherod has been selected as Honorable Mention in the Mental Health Matters category for your region.

As an Honorable Mention winner her film will be recognized on the website.

The film “See Me” submitted by Victoria Garcia & Mark Muzquiz has been selected as Honorable Mention in the Mental Health Matters category. As an Honorable Mention winner their film will be recognized on the website.
