To earn CSF hours through a project you create, you MUST get pre approval by the advisor, Ms. Sage. The project must be ON CAMPUS and ACADEMIC-RELATED (such as helping a teacher file, grade, organize). The appropriate forms are attached on the left side of this page.
You will NOT earn CSF hours if the project has not been approved first. Any hours done prior to approval will not count towards CSF.

General Information
Service hours are on a data base. Students may check their hours ON SCHOOL LOOP beginning in October.
Service Opportunities and Updates
*Events announced to the entire club at meetings or on the web site: YOU MUST GET A SIGNED PERMISSION SLIP TURNED IN TO MS. SAGE BEFORE THE DEADLINE LISTED ON THE PERMISSION SLIP (can be found on School Loop with the specific event). Then you will have the adult in charge sign your hours on your HOURS DOCUMENTATION FORM, which can also be found on School Loop with the specific event.
*INITIATE YOUR OWN PROJECT: These projects MUST BE DONE ON THE UHS CAMPUS, and must benefit UHS academically. The best way to do this is to ask a teacher if they can use your help somehow (Power Math, tutoring, filing papers, creating presentations, organizing textbooks, etc). Supervising a non-academic event will not count. You must:
-Library tutoring: Non-paid library tutoring can count towards CSF hours. YOU DO NOT NEED PRIOR APPROVAL TO VOLUNTEER IN THE LIBRARY.
-------------------------------------------------------
*Different Types of CSF Membership
100% MEMBERS are those who have qualified and paid their dues for 6 consecutive semesters (each semester of a student's sophomore through senior years). 100% members will receive a gold tassel and may purchase or rent the CSF stole after the senior meeting on the day of graduation.
LIFE MEMBERS are those who have qualified and paid their CSF dues for 4 semesters (from sophomore through senior years), one of which must be during senior year. Life members will receive a gold tassel, but do not qualify to have a CSF stole.
Both life and 100% members who have completed their 20 hours of service (2 hours must be completed during senior year) are considered ACTIVE MEMBERS and have the privilege of walking at the front of the graduating class at commencement, if they qualify to be a CSF Life Member or 100% Member.
