I have been a teacher for 11 years with all but the first year at Upland High School.  I recieved a Bacholar's of Arts in History from the Rhode Island College.  My Masters in Education is from Cal Poly Pomona.  

I have been teaching Government and Economics for the past 6 years and really enjoy sharing my life experiences with students including the fact that my husband owns his own company and we keep a high interest in government affairs.    

I am married and  a proud parent of three small children ages 3-7 Jennafer, Annaka, and Connor who are my life. 

Everyday the first 5-10 minutes of class we will be watching CNN student news.  This is an student friendly news show of current events in the world.  It is recommended for students to take notes on the news in order for them to do well on the quiz at the end of the week.  If they miss the news they can watch it on the interent at http://www.cnn.com/studentnews/
